i have 1985 s10 blazer want know how to fix my brake light and turn signal on back right side ive done check the fuses that wasnt it and i changed the bulbs still wasnt it so i went and bought a fuse for the flassher and still want work so if anybody can help me to fix that problem i would preshate itHow to fix a brake light a turn signal on the?
Must be in the wiring. Start at one end and follow it all the way through, you should find your problem. You may need to remove some plastics. If it all looks intact then just clean your joiners and see how you go then. A sparky has a tool that he can push into the wire and see if there is power going to it or not. The fact that it's only on the right side indicates to me that you have a problem with the wiring in the back only on the right side. The brake light and turn signal come through the same wire. take the taillight assembly from the other side plug it in and see if it works on the the right side., if it doesn't you need to buy a test light and and start probing the taillight wires till you find where the wire is broken or pinch. You have a bad turn signal switch. The turn and brake lights run through this switch. You have to pull the steering wheel to replace it. I'll bet the right side doesn't work with the 4-ways on either.
